Concrete Encasement Inspection in Albion Park, NSW
As part of our Water Services Coordinator works we conducted a site inspection on the pipe prior to concrete being poured in Albion Park. The items we are interested in are pipe type, pipe integrity, Trench drainage (A.G pipes) installed on either side. Minimum encasement is to be 150mm around the exterior of the pipe, pipe support and pipe braces are to be used. Once satisfied we provided the Sydney Water constructor the go ahead to encase the pipe. This is part of the building plan approval process.
Major Sewer Connection Inspection in Prestons, NSW
As part of our Water Services Coordinator works we conducted a major sewer connection inspection for a site in Prestons. As part of Prestons booming industrial development, we were requested a connection with Sydney Water to connect into an existing Sydney Water sewer manhole. During our inspection, we were required to make sure the constructor applies all safety controls to minimize risk and all documentation needs to be submitted. Once satisfied the constructor is given the go ahead to core drill into the manhole and connect the new DN225 sewer pipe.
Pier Inspection in Tamoor, NSW
Client: Samaro Homes
Description: As part of our Water Services Coordinator works we attended the site and conducted an inspection on the piers prior to pouring concrete. We were required to confirm onsite the location of Sydney Water assets and subsequently ensure the new piers are correctly placed and are drilled below the assets zone of influence. If they adhere to Sydney Water’s technical guidelines, we will allow them to proceed with concrete. This is a part of the building plan approval process for our client Samaro Homes.
